In Nigeria, the father appealed to the Sharia court to complain about his "disobedient and lazy" son of the jailed, reports Reuters on Friday, Oct. 17, citing local media.
COMPANIES Samaila Tahir (Samaila Tahir) from the city of Bauchi explained in court why his 20-year-old son deserved a harsher penalty under the laws of Islam (in northern Nigeria operate Shariah courts - "Lenta.ru").
"He does not listen and disgrace our family. I am tired of his wicked. I ask to be put in jail. Then I can breathe freely", - said Tahir. Also, according to the trader, his son refused to go to school and joined a local youth gang.
The court sentenced the son of Tahir (name of a son not mentioned) to six months in jail and 30 strokes of the cane for "disobedience to parents."
